If you have questions
about any rule and/or data provide by Advance Racing Association, please
feel free to contact the race director for proper clarification.
Ignorance on any rule and/or guideline does NOT excuse or justify for
being out of compliance, all violations (intentional or not) will be
subject to and handle by proper series action.
1. The ARA will
run under the same 2008 rules in 2009 with the following exceptions:
2. Hoosier 980 is
the official Tire of the ARA (we do not run Goodyear)
3. Ignition for
GM Crate can be MSD only if you have the 6300 chip
4. Shock rules for
both Cars and Trucks - Steel Body, Non adjustable, 1 shock per wheel
with a value of no more than $125
5. Official
GM Motor rebuild can be done by either
Jim Stewart (317-244-9129) or Kyle Clearwater (# to be posted
soon).
6. 2008 rules
will apply for 2009 ARA Trucks. If you are a non-ARA truck and
you are running our Hoosier approved tire you must weigh 3100 lbs and
have left percentage of 56 and nose percentage of 55.

We are in the process
of simplifying the rules for the 305 motors. New information
will be posted soon.
Please note the following rule additions...
1. We will be enforcing a 3:10 rule in the
series effective August 2, 2008.
2. If your team has radios and you have a spotter, at least one
spotter from each team will be required to be on top of the
tower anytime your race vehicle is on the track. There will be
no more single spotting from the pit area. If you are the caught
spotting from the pits, your driver will be asked to pull off the
track. (Note: Spotters will be mandatory in 2009)
3. Roll call will be taken and EVERY driver must be on time and
attend the drivers meeting. If you are not at the drivers
meeting you will start on the tail end of the field.
